This website is operated by Smartlake Motors Limited, a certified automotive service centre based in Migori Town, Kenya, and an authorised Isuzu service partner. The website provides information about our vehicle repair services, genuine spare parts, and allows customers to submit service booking requests and general enquiries.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of this website, including those who submit booking or contact forms. By using this website or submitting any form, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must be at least 18 years of age to submit a booking or service request. By using the website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking or enquiry at our discretion, including where we have reason to believe the submission is false, abusive, or made in bad faith.

Section 03

Booking and Service Requests

Our online booking form allows you to request a vehicle service or repair appointment. Submitting a booking form is a request only and does not constitute a confirmed appointment. We will contact you using the details you provide to confirm the date, time, and scope of the service.

All bookings are subject to workshop availability. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time, but availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by our team.

Once a booking is confirmed, we ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows without notice may affect your priority for future bookings.

Pricing and Quotations

Any pricing information shown on this website is indicative only and subject to change. A firm quotation will be provided by our team after an initial inspection of your vehicle. We will always seek your approval before commencing any work.

We provide clear, upfront pricing and will not proceed with repairs beyond the agreed scope without informing you and obtaining your consent. No hidden charges will be added to a confirmed quotation without your knowledge and agreement.

Section 05

Genuine Parts

Smartlake Motors is a certified Isuzu partner and stocks genuine parts sourced through the Isuzu East Africa supply chain. Where genuine parts are used in a repair or service, we will confirm this with you. We also carry quality parts for other vehicle makes.

Where an alternative part is proposed due to availability or cost considerations, we will always inform you and obtain your approval before fitment. The choice of parts remains the customer's decision following our recommendation.

Prohibited Conduct

When using this website and its forms, you must not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information in any booking, contact, or enquiry form.
  • Attempt to access any system or data not intended for public access.
  • Use any automated tool, bot, or scraper to extract data from the website.
  • Engage in any conduct that disrupts, damages, or impairs the website or our systems.
  • Submit a false or exaggerated emergency or urgency claim through any booking or contact form where no genuine emergency exists, or otherwise misrepresent the nature or urgency of a service request in order to obtain preferential treatment.
  • Use this website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Kenyan law.

Consequences of False or Misleading Submissions. We take the accuracy of all booking and contact form submissions seriously. Where we reasonably determine that a submission contains false, misleading, or fabricated information, including the raising of a false emergency or urgency claim, we reserve the right to: (a) cancel or deprioritise the booking or enquiry without notice; (b) decline to provide services to the individual concerned; (c) report the matter to the relevant authorities where the false submission constitutes or may constitute a criminal offence under Kenyan law, including under the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018; and (d) pursue civil recovery for any costs, losses, or operational disruption caused to Smartlake Motors as a result of the false submission.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, photography, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Smartlake Motors Limited. The Isuzu name, logo, and related trademarks are the property of Isuzu Motors Limited and are used under licence from Isuzu East Africa.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Smartlake Motors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its features, including the booking or contact forms.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising in connection with these terms or the website shall not exceed the value of the specific transaction or service directly at issue.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms, or your use of this website or our services, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
